Course Portraits

Every portrait is made to order, just for you — so the policy isn’t one-size-fits-all retail. Here’s the simple version: we’ll work with you until your proof is right, and we’ll always make good on a print that arrives damaged or flawed.
Because each piece is painted and produced individually from your details, it can’t be put back on a shelf or resold. That shapes everything below — but it also means our whole process is built around getting it right before anything is finalized.
You always see and approve a proof before your portrait is finalized. If the proofs aren’t right, tell us what’s off — we’ll revise and send new proofs until you’re happy. Because the work has already begun, orders aren’t refundable for cash at this stage, but we’re committed to reaching a proof you love.
Approving a proof sends it into production — your file is delivered or your print is manufactured to that exact approval. At that point the order can’t be cancelled, changed, or returned for a change of mind, because it’s a personalized, made-to-order item.
This is where we’ve got you covered completely. If your print arrives damaged, or there’s a manufacturing flaw (a printing defect, a frame problem, the wrong item), we’ll replace it free of charge. Just:
We’ll arrange a replacement at no cost to you. In most cases you won’t need to ship the original back.
Digital portraits are delivered as a file once you approve your proof. Because the file is delivered immediately and can’t be returned, digital orders are non-refundable after approval — though the same “we’ll revise until it’s right” promise applies before you approve.
If tracking shows your print didn’t arrive, contact us and we’ll work with our print partner to track it down or send a replacement.
