Course Portraits

Everything about how it works — from the photo you send to the print on your wall.
Three steps: tell us the round (your name, the course, the hole, the day, and a photo from the tee if you have one); our studio paints your actual hole and sends you proof options to review; you pick your favorite and we finish it — matted on cream with a gold keyline and an inscription. You approve a proof before anything is finalized.
No problem. For famous courses we can paint from our own reference, and for others our studio will source a suitable reference for you. A photo from the tee gives the most personal result, but it’s not required.
Six hands, from loose watercolor to a bold post-impressionist treatment — including oil, classic watercolor, impressionist, vintage poster, and modern illustration. You’ll see your hole painted in your chosen style before you commit.
You choose your size and frame finish at checkout.
We send your first proofs within about 2–4 business days. Digital files are delivered as soon as you approve a proof. Framed prints are made to order — typically about a week to make and ship, then about 2–5 business days in transit. These are estimates, since each piece is made individually.
We currently ship framed prints within the United States, produced and delivered by our print partner in Course Portraits packaging. Digital downloads are available anywhere. Outside the US? Email us at hello@courseportraits.comand we’ll see what we can do.
Approving a proof sends it into production, so it can’t be changed after that. That’s exactly why we proof first — if anything’s off, tell us and we’ll revise until it’s right, before you approve.
Because each portrait is custom-made, we can’t take returns for a change of mind — but we’ll replace any print that arrives damaged or defective, free of charge, within 30 days. Full details on the Returns & Refunds page.
We use it only to create your portrait. To paint it, your photo is processed by our image-generation provider, and we keep it with your order for delivery and reprints. You can ask us to delete it once your order is complete — see our Privacy Policy.
